Project for the web is Microsoft’s most recent offering for cloud-based work and project management. It’s built on top of Common Data Service (CDS), which opens a lot of possibilities when working with Microsoft’s new chapter of project management software. One of the scenarios made possible by CDS and the Power platform is building robust workflows, using modern tools and no code.
Gartner’s 2019 Magic Quadrant for Integrated IT Portfolio Analysis Applications (IIPA) was just released, and once again, UMT360 has been recognized as a visionary provider. According to Gartner, “integrating portfolios using IIPA software enables IT managers to see the cost, effort, technical complexity, feasibility and interrelated effects of a proposed IT change or digital initiative before it is approved.”
This blog post details upcoming changes to the UMT360 software support matrix:
End of Support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 (IE10)
In 2015 Microsoft released Edge as the flagship browser that will support modern web technologies and over time replace Internet Explorer (IE). Since then, IE has not received major updates, and has not kept pace with modern web standards required by today’s web applications. Earlier this year, Microsoft discouraged the use of Internet Explorer as a default browser.
To allow us to continue to take advantage of modern web standards and deliver improved features and the best possible user experience across all of our products, we have decided to end support for IE10. We will continue supporting Internet Explorer 11.
What does end of support for IE10 mean?
End of support means we will not fix bugs that are specific to IE10, and new features might not be fully compatible with this browser version.
When is this happening?
We will no longer provide support for IE10 starting on January 1st, 2020.
What this means for you
In preparation for the end of support dates, we recommend switching to one of our supported browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Microsoft IE 11 or Mozilla Firefox.
