Gartner’s 2019 Magic Quadrant for Integrated IT Portfolio Analysis Applications (IIPA) was just released, and once again, UMT360 has been recognized as a visionary provider. According to Gartner, “integrating portfolios using IIPA software enables IT managers to see the cost, effort, technical complexity, feasibility and interrelated effects of a proposed IT change or digital initiative before it is approved.”
Flexible solution that continues to innovate
This is the eighth consecutive year that UMT360 has been featured in this Magic Quadrant, which cites the flexibility of the UMT360 solution “in terms of defining different types of portfolios and tracking different types of portfolio entities (e.g., strategic goals and outcomes, business capabilities, products, applications, programs and projects).”
Uniquely suited for the Microsoft Platform
The report also noted that UMT360 “possesses a particularly strong and differentiating level of experience with deploying enterprise portfolio management and IIPA for customers that have adopted and standardized Microsoft Project, Project Server, Project Online or Office 365 as their core project management system.”
It goes on to say “The architectural synergies between the Office 365 foundation of UMT360 and Microsoft’s project management offerings are strong. Additionally, for development organizations engaged in agile and using Azure DevOps Server, UMT360 is a strong option for bringing agile portfolio management to Microsoft developers engaged in scaling agile to the portfolio level.”
What can the right IIPA solution do for you?
According to the report, “IIPA technology drives better collaboration and communication in order to make the right IT investment decisions at the right time for the right outcomes.” For enterprises looking to more effectively drive business transformation, the right IIPA solution is critical for “bridging the gap between business strategies and expected business outcomes, with technical change analysis covering the many silos of IT.”
