We are pleased to announce the release of the UMT360 for SharePoint 2013 SP1 (2014 release) – Cumulative Update 4 / CU4. Cumulative Updates include all previously released public updates and private hotfixes. We strongly recommend that any patch and release is validated in a non-production environment first before being applied to production environments.
Here’s the list of fixes and improvements addressed:
- Performance and Reliability
- Addressed issues with importing data to custom fields failing when updating information for projects without an associated workflow
- Fixed behavior where locked (approved) budgets are affected by changes in financial granularity linked to workflow stage transitions
- Addressed infrequent issues with incorrect calculation of granularity units on the creation of new time periods
- Fixed issues with the Cost Center Mappings update failing with primary key constraint violation if multiple users mappings are created against the same cost center
- Addressed issues with errors being logged in the ULS when 6 or more users simultaneously perform operations that lead to creation of Queue jobs
- Fixed errors on creating OLAP cubes after Project Owners have been removed from the Active Directory
- Improved reliability of the Push Settings functionality (violation of primary key constraint)
- Fixed issues with Dependency conditions being evaluated incorrectly in the UMT360 Fields web part for custom fields created based on multi-level lookup tables
- Corrected intermitted issues with updates to the Reporting tables failing for projects created using an Enterprise Project Type with an associated Project Plan Template
- Removed limit of 32767 snapshots per snapshot template
- Improved behavior or the Queue Cleanup process to delete correlated blocked jobs when appropriate
- Addressed scenarios where financial reporting periods could have been inadvertently created (opened) without the most recent period being approved
- Fixed incorrect exchange rate multiplication for the dbo.cmSnapshotBreakdownValues table
- Reporting and OLAP Infrastructure
- Added the ability to use custom fields of type Date and Text (single line and multi-line) as OLAP cube dimensions
- Data Import
- Expanded the list of available import identifiers types to include the Project Guid
- Extended the types of Custom Fields supported for import to include Flag types
- API
- Added a new method – QueueStartDataImportWithValidationByTemplateName – that allows for triggering an import session based on a template name and a file location
- Other
- Fixed incorrect Last Changed timestamp after editing a Change Request
- Addressed issues around users without the Review Change Request permission not being able to reactivate Change Requests
- Extended the Copy Dimension functionality to provide the ability to copy a Forecast-type Financial Dimension (FD) to any Budget- and Forecast-type FD within the same Enterprise Financial Type
- Fixed the Click here link from the Manage Groups and Manage Templates pages to always point to the correct addresses regardless of the name of the PWA site
- Correctly delete all related data associated with a survey when a project is deleted
- Values for custom fields of type Date are now correctly displayed in Snapshots
- Values for custom fields based on lookup table are now rendered as read-only when viewing a Snapshot
- Dates are correctly formatted using the site locale for task approval email notifications
- Improved the UI to show results of a Survey upon submission
