The Good Business Charter (GBC) is an accreditation which organizations in the UK can sign up to in recognition of responsible business practices. It measures behavior over ten components: real living wage, fairer hours and contracts, employee well-being, employee representation, diversity and inclusion, environmental responsibility, paying fair tax, commitment to customers, ethical sourcing, and prompt payment. North Highland is proud to be accredited by the GBC in the UK.

The Management Consultancies Association (MCA) is the voice of the consulting industry and the representative body for the UK’s leading management consulting firms. As a member of the MCA, North Highland is committed to Consulting Excellence – a scheme that promotes high standards of ethical behavior, value for clients and professional development. Consulting Excellence confirms consulting’s status as a great profession central to the UK’s ability to grow businesses and deliver valued public services. North Highland’s learning and development journey for our consultants has also been accredited against the Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC) Award through both CMI and the MCA.

This proves that we have met the standard required for developing knowledge, understanding, and professional practice of Management Consultancy. We are the 18th Firm to have received this accreditation, and one of the first to receive it for a global learning and development offering. Our consultants are now able to receive the Chartered Management Consultant Award themselves after 5 years of experience rather than 7 thanks to our approach to learning and development being accredited against the MCA Competency Framework.
