Mike Gruia

Chairman of the Board

UMT360 CEO and co-founder of UMT Consulting Group (acquired by EY in 2015), Mike Gruia is widely recognized as a strategic visionary focused on helping businesses transform the way they operate and invest through the use of powerful portfolio management solutions aimed at improving operations and management processes. A guiding force in the design of UMT solutions including Portfolio Manager which was acquired by Microsoft, Mike is also credited with leading the creation of the portfolio prioritization and optimization framework and governance approach being used today by Fortune 500 companies around the world. Mike holds degrees in Industrial & Systems Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University and Technion Israeli Institute of Technology.

Yorai Linenberg

Yorai Linenberg is a founding partner and CFO of UMT360. Previously, he co-founded and served as the CFO for UMT Consulting Group until its acquisition by EY in 2015. In both roles and over the past 25 years Yorai has led numerous implementations of enterprise portfolio management solutions in multiple industries and regions. Yorai attended the Tel-Aviv University where he earned an MSc degree in Physics and an MBA from the Recanati Graduate School of Business.

Catalin Olteanu

President of UMT360, Catalin Olteanu manages the company’s operations. Catalin founded the company’s Romanian development center which built the UMT Portfolio Manager suite later acquired by Microsoft. Catalin is an expert in project and portfolio management and provides the unique technology perspective combined with solid implementation and consulting experience. Catalin has a degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University in Bucharest, Romania.
